Dr. MONTSERRAT CABRÉ
Dr. Montserrat Cabré holds a PhD in Medieval History from the University of Barcelona and is Associate Professor of the History of Science at the University of Cantabria, Spain, where she founded and directed the gender and women's studies program between 2004-2010. She has been a visiting scholar at various European and North American universities, including Cambridge (UK), Toronto (Canada), Harvard and MIT (USA). She is currently on the editorial board of the journal of women's history Arenal, a member of the advisory board of the book series Feminismos (Cátedra-University of Valencia) and director of the series Fenárete (University of Cantabria). She is the co-director of the journal of the history of science Dynamis.

Dr. JOSÉ SANTAEMILIA
Dr. José Santaemilia is Associate Professor of English Language and Linguistics at the Universitat de València, as well as a legal and literary translator. His main research interests are gender and language, sexual language and translation. He has edited Género, lenguaje y traducción (Valencia, 2003) and Gender, sex and translation: The manipulation of identities (Manchester, 2005). With José Pruñonosa, he is author of the first critical edition and translation of Fanny Hill into Spanish (Editorial Cátedra, 2000). He has recently co-edited Gender and sexual identities in transition: International Perspectives (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2008), with Patricia Bou, and Woman and Translation: Geographies, Voices and Identities (MONTI – Monographs on Translation and Interpretation, 2011), with Louise von Flotow. Dr. PILAR GODAYOL
Dr. Pilar Godayol holds a Ph.D in Translation Studies from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and is sworn translator. She is also a senior lecturer in the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Applied Languages of the Universitat de Vic. She is the coordinator of the consolidated “Gender Studies Research Group: Translation, Literature, History and Communication” (GETLIHC) (2014 SGR 62) at the University of Vic and the PI of the subproject I+D+i “Traducción y censura: género e ideología (1939-2000)” (FFI2014-52989-C2-2-P). She has participated in many conferences and published numerous studies dealing with gender, biography, Chicana literature and history and theory of translation, including: Traducción / Género / Poscolonialismo (coord.) (2008); and with Montserrat Bacardí, Una impossibilitat possible. (eds.) (2010), Diccionari de la traducció catalana (eds.) (2011) and Les traductores i la tradició (2013). Dr. VANESSA LEONARDI
Dr. Vanessa Leonardi is a researcher and lecturer in English Language and Translation in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ferrara, Italy. She holds a PhD in Translation Studies and Comparative Literature from the Department of Italian Studies, University of Leeds, UK. She has published profusely in the field of translation and gender: she has been the co-editor of the volume Bridging the Gap between Theory and Practice in Translation and Gender Studies (2013); she has also published articles and book chapters on the topic in prestigious publishing houses such as Peter Lang; in 2011 she organized a conference on the topic that took place in the University of Calabria; she is the person in charge of the Encyclopedia entries of "ideology" and "gender and translation" that appear as "key concepts" in The Routledge Companion to Translation Studies, London and New York.
